I have been dealing with social services for a year now. My homeschooling is under attack because we are unschoolers. The social worker is demanding i produce a set of classes and weekly test scores. Im so over the harrassment. We live in NC. Do you know how i would /should go about handling this. She is threatening to call nc homeschool on me to try and have my homeschool closed down.
I don’t know if you got a response yet, but I recommend a couple things. First join a North Carolina Homeschool Facebook Group and explain to them what is going on. I only lived in NC for a year but they were a huge help when I was there and had questions. It sounds like what they are asking might be illegal. I would contact Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) and see what they say. Sorry you are going through this.
